About YMEC

YMEC is a non-profit organization made up of eight leading youth museums:

Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose
Long Island Children's Museum
The Children’s Museum of Memphis
Minnesota Children’s Museum
Stepping Stones Museum for Children

The eight member museums represent metropolitan area populations of approximately twenty million people in the United States and Canada. The museums directly serve over four million visitors annually. Approximately three hundred full-time staff and over three thousand volunteers support operations in the geographically diverse institutions.
