About YMEC

YMEC is a non-profit organization made up of nine leading youth museums:

Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
The Children’s Museum of Houston
The Children’s Museum of Memphis
Minnesota Children’s Museum

The nine member museums represent metropolitan area populations of approximately twenty million people in the United States and Canada. The museums directly serve over four million visitors annually. Approximately four hundred full-time staff and over four thousand volunteers support operations in the geographically diverse institutions.
